Troop 714

Mountain View Church is proud to be the charter organization for Troop 714. These young men are the leaders of tomorrow, and we are grateful for the impact and influence they have at Mountain View and our community.

Troop 714 dates back to 1966! In 1987, the troop moved to what was at the time Mountain View United Methodist Church. Since its inception, Troop 714 has produced almost 150 Eagle Scouts! You will see several Eagle Scout projects found around the Mountain View grounds!

Today, Troop 714 is about 60 members strong and growing. That growth is nurtured through the dedication of the 40+ adult leaders of the troop who work tirelessly to help the boys have a memorable experience of learning through respect and fellowship.

Troop 714 meets on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm. Under the stellar leadership of Scoutmaster William Conway, these young men serve our community through a variety of service projects, and they enjoy the outdoors through activities like camping, hiking, backpacking, and canoeing.
