When you come to Mountain View, you will see people of all ages – infants, children, teens, young adults, adults, and senior adults.
Come as you are! You will see a few people dressed in their Sunday best, whereas others are casual.
Whether you’re brand new to church or you’ve been in church most of your life, we want to say, “Welcome!” Our hope at Mountain View is to create worship services where we encounter and praise God, while connecting with others in meaningful ways.
It’s hard to define the “Mountain View way” of worship. Each Sunday morning, our worship is kicked-off with the children carrying in the “Light of Christ” (which are battery-powered candles.) We use the ancient and historic Apostle’s Creed, but we also use a lot of video. We feature traditional hymns, but you’ll find some modern praise music mixed in. You may hear a classical piece one minute, with a jazzed-up hymn moments later. It’s hard to put into words. We simply call it the Mountain View Way!
Dr. Joe’s messages focus on helping people develop and deepen a journey with Jesus. We dig deep into God’s Word in a way that not only applies to our lives, but can transform them.
You’ll find people who have been involved in church their entire lives, sitting among people who have never (until now) set foot in a church.
Our goal is to be authentic and genuine in our worship. So regardless of what you’ve done or where you’ve been, we have a place for You!
At Mountain View, we care about your kids, and we are so glad they are here! We look forward to teaching them about Jesus and God’s amazing love for them!
When arriving as our guest, you will find a registration area in the lobby. Our greeters can direct you. You will be asked to fill out a form with basic information and your child will be given a nametag.
KidZone is our Sunday morning programming for infants through fifth graders. Kindergarten through fifth graders start in the sanctuary. They participate in an interactive children’s message before being escorted to classrooms. Children four and under may go straight to the nursery or begin in the sanctuary. Children are always welcome to remain with parents/guardians.
For those in 6th grade through 12th grade, we have an awesome Youth Room downstairs, and a Sunday morning group for them. But they, too, are welcome to stay in the service.

At Mountain View, we offer many ways for you to get more connected to God and to others. We have several Sunday mornings small groups plus other gatherings throughout the week. Learn more about these on our Small Groups page.
If you have any questions or concerns, know that we would love to hear from you! Dr. Joe McKechnie – Sr. Pastor: Pastor@mv-church.org
